Account Management Policies

Merging Accounts

Users with pre-existing Qualtrics accounts may contact the ITS Application User Support Group (AUSG) to have their existing and new accounts merged. AUSG will request the user account information and coordinate with Qualtrics to merge the existing and new (SIUE) accounts (this process must be completed by Qualtrics). Once the accounts are merged, AUSG will change ownership of any previously created surveys as necessary.

e-ID Changes

Please send an e-mail to ftc_help@siue.edu with "e-ID Name Changes" as the subject line and a description of the type of changes needed. There is a 3 to 5 business day turn around on requests of this type. If necessary a survey can be transferred to a chosen account. Options for the survey point are as follows: Edit, Results, Send, View, Collaborate, Copy, Translate, or Delete.

Deleting Accounts

After 12 months of inactivity, account user will be notified of impending account deletion. The owner of the account may respond and request that the account remain active (this is only possible if the user is employed by or a student at SIUE). Three e-mails will be sent over a three week period. After the third e-mail, the account and its contents will be deleted.

Adjustments to Standard Account Permissions

Adjustments to standard account permissions including total surveys allowed, allowed active surveys, allowed responses, allowed outgoing e-mails and collaboration outside of brand must be requested and approved. Please send an e-mail to ftc_help@siue.edu with "Adjustments to Standard Account Permissions" as the subject line and a description of the type of changes needed. There is a 3 to 5 business day turn around on requests of this type.

Adjustments to Student Account Permissions

Student Accounts will be granted additional privileges when requested by a faculty or staff member. Please send an e-mail to ftc_help@siue.edu with "Adjustments to Student Account Permissions" as the subject line and a description of the type of changes needed. There is a 3 to 5 business day turn around on requests of this type.
