EMS Master Calendar is an add-on to EMS Enterprise. Through a data connector, EMS Master Calendar pulls information from EMS Enterprise (event name, event times, event location, contact information) to automatically populate individual event calendars in Master Calendar. If an event is scheduled in space using EMS Enterprise, it can be set to automatically display in Master Calendar. Events pulled into Master Calendar can be further developed in Master Calendar to include thumbnail size images, links to web sites and/or access to forms. Master Calendar also affords the ability to add events that are not held on campus (i.e. away athletic events, alumni meetings around the area, etc.).
Master Calendar is accessed at: http://www.siue.edu/events/. Anyone can view the public calendars. Only authorized individuals can add events to the Master Calendar either as a Calendar Manager, Calendar User, or Calendar Requestor.
