Temporary Housing
Official check-in for University Housing does not begin until the weekend before classes begin. Early check in will be provided the weekend before orientation by the University Housing at approximately $18 to $21 per day.
Note: Temporary housing arrangement is only for the student living on-campus for the semester
Securing Permanent Housing
To secure on-campus housing, students should begin the housing application process as soon as they are accepted to the University. Because SIUE is three miles from the city of Edwardsville, off-campus housing is not convenient without an automobile. University housing is usually fully filled two months prior to each academic term, therefore it is extremely important to immediately apply for housing.
