International students may request support letters for various reasons.
A Letter of Good Standing states that a student is making academic progress and has maintained full-time registration at SIUE.
Extended family (parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles etc.) must apply for a B-1/B-2 Visitor visa to come to the U.S. for graduation. To facilitate the process of applying for a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, the Office of International Programs can write a letter of invitation on the behalf of the International student.
International students can request a letter by filling out the online Letter Request Form. Processing time is 1-2 business days. Please come to the Office of International Programs to pick up the letter.
