Immunizations
Immunizations are required for all international students enrolled at SIUE. All immunization records not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation. The Office of International Programs strongly recommends that you complete your immunization requirement before you arrive at SIUE. Immunization costs in the United States can range from $75 to $200. International Student Requirements
- All records not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation

Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (DPT, DTP, DT, DTaP, Td, or Tdap)
- Three doses are required
- One must be within 10 years prior to enrollment
- Tetanus Toxoid is NOT acceptable in fulfilling this requirement

Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
- Two doses at least 28 days apart and after 12/31/67 (Must be after 12 months of age), or
- A combination of the following:
- Rubeola (Measles, Red Measles) – 2 doses after 12 months of age
- Mumps – 1 dose after 12 months of age
- Rubella – 1 dose after 12 months of age, or
- Positive titers confirming immunity (please attach lab report)

Tuberculosis (TB Skin Test)
- TB Skin Test 5 months prior to entering or upon arrival to SIUE, or
- A negative chest X-ray (please attach X-ray report), or
- A negative Quantiferon Blood Test (please attach lab report
