Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL) is primary airport and all major airlines provide service to St. Louis. Lambert International Airport is located 45 minutes from SIUE.
Transportation from the Airport to SIUE
The Office of International Programs will be happy to arrange your transportation from the airport provided you arrive between May 14-16, 2012 for the Summer 2012 semester. We must receive arrival information at least 72 hours in advance or you will need to provide your own transportation.
Once your travel plans are confirmed, contact International Programs giving the exact flight number, air carrier, and time and date of your arrival. Please use the arrival information form on our website or contact us by phone (618-650-3785) or e-mail us at iss@siue.edu.
If you are unable to provide the office with advance notice of your arrival, you will have to arrange for a taxi service from the airport to campus. The cost varies from $100 to $120. Students arriving between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, should have the driver take them to Office of International Programs located in the lower level of the Student Success Center.
