Travel Information

Arrange your travel plans to arrive at St. Louis Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri. The Office of International Student Services will be happy to arrange your transportation from the airport provided you arrive during the two weeks prior to the start of classes. We must receive arrival information at least 72 hours in advance or you will need to provide your own transportation.

Once your travel plans are confirmed, contact International Student Services giving the exact flight number, air carrier, and time and date of your arrival. Due to mail delays, we advise that you contact us by phone (618-650-3785), e-mail, or fax (618-650-5099).

If you are unable to provide the office with advance notice of your arrival, you will have to arrange for a taxi or limousine service from the airport to campus. The cost varies from $50 to $60. Taxicabs usually are the most expensive. Students arriving between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, should have the driver take them to SIUE, Office of International Student Services, Second Floor, Morris University Center.
