All F-1 and J-1 students are required to report and maintain a local U.S. address with the Department of Homeland Security within 10 days of arrival for new students and within 10 days of any address change. This must be your local U.S. residential address complete with room number (if you are living in a residence hall) or apartment number. Campus departmental addresses, P.O. boxes, and foreign address are not acceptable addresses for immigration purposes.
Report or update your mailing and billing address through CougarNet (click here for instructions). The SIUE Office of International Affairs will forward this address electronically to the Department of Homeland Security through SEVIS.
