Admitted international undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.9 are eligible to receive the SIUE International GEO Award. This award is a reduced tuition rate that recognizes outstanding academic achievement and early admission to the University. The award is good for up to eight undergraduate semesters.
Award Value: Over four years, the award will have a value of approximately $30,000 when compared to traditional undergraduate international student tuition rates. An awardee will be required to present a bank statement showing a minimum balance of $21,184 to meet immigration requirements and to be issued an I-20.

Qualifications: Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis to international students who meet the academic and/or outstanding talent award qualifications and are admitted (degree-seeking) to the University.
Applying for the Award: There is no separate application required to be considered for this scholarship and there is no application fee for undergraduate international applicants. Award Notification: Award notification for the Spring 2015 semester will begin in September 2014 and will continue until all International GEO Awards are exhausted. Scholarships are awarded based on availability.
