Costs

The cost of study at SIUE is competitive and is the lowest among public institutions in Illinois. Because we are located in an area that is outside a city center, the cost of living in Edwardsville is lower than many areas of the United States.

Summer session courses are $1,824 based on 3 credit hours, and mandatory fees are approximately $499 based on 3 credit hours. (Most classes are 3 credit hours.) Undergraduate students must enroll in 12 or more credit hours in fall and spring semesters; any exceptions must be approved by an international student advisor.
