Faculty Resources

Dr. Jungsang Yoo is a professor and department head of Industrial Engineering, Kyungwon University, South Korea. He received his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. from Hanyang University, South Korea. SIUE's Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering is hosting Dr. Yoo from August 2007 to August 2008 to facilitate his study of IME curricula and his research collaboration with Dr. H. Felix Lee on supply chain management.

O.E. Charles-Owaba is being hosted by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and is working on a book manuscript titled "Process Optimization for Industrial Quality Improvement" under contract by Taylor and Francis publishing company. He is also working on a proposal for a linkage program between his home institution, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and School of Engineering, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Hongfei Li is a visiting international research scholar from the Department of Mathematics, Yulin College, China. Dr. Li is conducting research at SIUE's Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering on system and control theory with emphasis on time-delay systems.

Olubusola Oso will be teaching and studying at SIUE during the 2007-08 academic year as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant thanks to generous assistance from the Fulbright program. Miss Oso will study pedagogy and instructional topics while at SIUE and is teaching Introduction to Yoruba Language and Culture.
