Faculty Development

The Office of Academic Innovation and Effectiveness supports SIUE faculty in several ways: workshops, mid-week mentor brown bags, chair's activities, public lectures and conferences. These programs will help build a community of master teachers at SIUE as faculty come together to share and learn with one another. The programs are developed with the goal of providing relevant, useful, and current information which faculty members can apply directly to their instruction. This programming is planned with the intent of enhancing faculty members' teaching skills and improving student outcomes.
