HEAD START PROGRAM
TITLE/RANK: Family Support Program Coordinator
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Senior administrative position with overall program service area responsibilities; administers and supervises the day-to-day operations of the family support service staff and related agencies; manages and monitors the program’s recruitment, eligibility and enrollment process; manages all non-Head Start grants that have family partnership functions.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Professional Staff, non-bargaining, 100%.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: Federal
SALARY RANGE: commensurate with education, training and/or experience
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A Master’s degree preferred in social work or related field; experience with low income and culturally diverse families; case management experience required; five years supervisory experience required; excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills required.
