HIRING UNIT: SCHOOL OF DENTAL MEDICINE (ALTON)
TITLE/RANK: Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Periodically throughout the year, the School of Dental Medicine may have various part-time, term, non-tenure track faculty position openings available in any of the following departments: Applied Dental Medicine; Sections of Endodontics, Diagnostic Sciences, Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery, and Periodontology; Growth, Development & Structure; Sections of DAU/Practice management, Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry; and Restorative Dentistry; Sections of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry. Responsibilities include providing instruction and clinical supervision for predoctoral and/or postdoctoral School of Dental Medicine students.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, term, non-tenure track position.

SALARY RANGE: commensurate with qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree is required. A teaching or permanent license to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois is required. Prior dental teaching experience and/or advanced training desirable.
