HIRING UNIT: SCHOOL OF DENTAL MEDICINE (ALTON)
DEPARTMENT OF GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND STRUCTURE
TITLE/RANK: Assistant or Associate Professor (depending on qualifications)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Position available in the Department of Growth, Development and Structure, Section of Anatomy. Teaching duties are shared within the Section and include courses in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Neuroanatomy, and Oral Biology. Candidates are expected to possess a strong research portfolio to establish an independent research program, or to actively participate and/or collaborate in ongoing research areas supported by the School.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Assistant or Associate Professor, full-time, continuing, tenure-track.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State
SALARY RANGE: commensurate with qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Ph.D./DMD/DDS/MD. Postdoctoral training and prior teaching experience in the Anatomical Sciences are desirable.
