HIRING UNIT: DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION
TITLE/RANK: Assistant Professor of Construction (2 positions)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the construction department, conducting research, and performing university and public service.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: 9-month, Academic year, tenure-track beginning August 16, 2009
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (1) An earned Ph.D. is highly preferred. At least one graduate degree (Ph.D. or Master's) must be in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. (2) Management experience in the U.S. construction industry, and professional certification or licensure is desirable.
