HIRING UNIT: SCHOOL OF EDUCATION
TITLE/RANK: Lecturer/Instructor (part-time and full-time positions)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Periodically, the School of Education may have openings throughout the year (AY 2012-2013 and summer 2013) for various full time, non-tenure, appointments and part-time, non-tenure, appointments in any of the following School of Education program areas: Elementary Education; Secondary Education; Educational Administration; Educational Foundations; Special Education; Speech Pathology and Audiology; Instructional Technology; Kinesiology and Health Education; and Psychology. Classes are typically scheduled for the semester and are taught on a daytime schedule or one night per week either on campus or in communities within a 60-mile radius. Positions requiring on or off campus supervision of students may also become available
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, non-tenure, term, percent of appointment varies.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State
SALARY RANGE: Determined by union contract and course load.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Ph.D. preferred, Master’s and Specialist’s with specific expertise will be considered.
