TITLE/RANK: Assistant Professor
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The faculty position involves teaching courses in the BSW and MSW programs per semester, service and scholarship. Ability to teach in a variety of curricular areas is important, while experience teaching child welfare, children and youth, and marriage and family will be a plus.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, tenure track, beginning Fall 2013, 100%.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with education, training and/or experience.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Ability to teach in a variety of curricular areas is important, while experience teaching child welfare, children and youth, and marriage and family will be a plus. Applicants must possess an MSW plus two years post-MSW practice experience and a PhD in Social work or related field (ABD will be considered if close to completion). If the PhD degree is not completed at the beginning of the contract period the rank of Instructor with one year term appointment will be made.
