HIRING UNIT:  SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND FINANCE

TITLE/RANK:   Assistant Professor (1 opening in Economics) Pending budgetary approval

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  Teaching undergraduate and graduate (Master’s and MBA) courses.  Preference will be given to individuals with research and teaching interests in applied microeconomics, labor economics or industrial organization.

 TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:  Academic beginning August, 2010.  9 months.  100% appointment.

SOURCE OF FUNDS:    State

SALARY RANGE:    Commensurate with qualifications and  experience

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Ph.D. in Economics is required, with preference given to candidates with research and teaching interests in applied microeconomics, labor economics or industrial organization.
