DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING
TITLE/RANK: Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor (subject to budgetary approval)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsibilities include teaching, research, and professional activities as well as other duties associated with academic teaching positions.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, (9) months, continuing, full-time, beginning August 2013.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State
SALARY RANGE: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Teaching specialization in the area of financial accounting or taxation but other specialties will be considered. A Ph.D. in Accounting is required, but ABD’s nearing completion will be considered. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and scholarly research. The Department of Accounting offers AACSB accredited programs at both the undergraduate and master’s levels.
