POSITION TITLE: LECTURER/INSTRUCTOR (VARIOUS)
HIRING UNIT: SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Periodically, the School of Engineering may have various openings throughout the year (AY 2013-2014 and Summer 2014) for various full-time, non-tenure, academic year term instructor appointments and part-time, non-tenure, semester term Lecturer appointments in any of the following School of Engineering departments: Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Industrial & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: An advanced degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in course content and fluency in English language are required for appointment carrying teaching responsibilities.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, non-tenure, term, percent of appointment varies.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State of Illinois and/or Extramural awards.
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with training and experience.
