HIRING UNIT: COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
TITLE/RANK: LECTURER/INSTRUCTOR (VARIOUS)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Periodically, the College of Arts and Sciences may have various openings throughout the year (AY 2013-2014 and summer 2014) for various full time, non-tenure, academic year term instructor appointments and part-time, non-tenure, semester term lecturer appointments in any of the following College of Arts and Sciences departments: Anthropology, Art and Design, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, English Language and Literature, Environmental Sciences, Foreign Languages and Literature, Geography, Historical Studies, Mass Communications, Mathematics and Statistics, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Public Administration and Policy Analysis, Sociology and Criminal Justice Studies, Social Work, Speech Communication, and Theater and Dance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: An advance degree in discipline of instruction (or equivalent professional experience) is required.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, non-tenure, term, percent of appointment varies.
SOURCE OF FUNDS: State
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with training and experience.
