FOOD SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR III-FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
Description: This position is responsible for four specialty food concepts (Entrees, Grille, Garden Patch and Bakers Nook), Dry Storage area and the Storeroom Clerk, all kitchen production personnel, both food and nonfood (Catering, Conferences, Programs, Grille, Entrees, Garden Patch, Baker’s Nook, Starbuck’s and Pasta) purchasing from prime vendors, pest control maintenance, equipment maintenance and ordering and inventory. This individual ensures adherence of the Illinois Department of Public Health food safety and sanitation rules and regulations. The Food Service Administrator III may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals.
Minimum qualifications:
1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. Six years of food service management experience (University training in dietetics, in hotel, restaurant, or institutional management, or in related fields may be substituted, year for year, for experience.)
Starting salary: $3,554 per month
