TRANSPORTATION MANAGER – TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Description: The successful candidate will direct and coordinate the overall operation of Transportation Services. This individual will supervise the business, operational, and fiscal operations of the department including a custom job cost system, management and financial activities, and vehicle operations. She/he will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Management Business/Administrative Associate in preparing financial statements as well as short-, mid-, and long-term budgets for Transportation Services. The Transportation Manager may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals.
1. Three years of work experience involving the supervision of the operations of an automotive repair garage or vehicle rental service or the supervision of the scheduling,
maintenance, repair, and/or operation of an automotive fleet.
2. Valid State of Illinois driver’s license at time of appointment, the class of the license depending on the type of vehicle(s) to be operated.
Starting salary: $3,554 per month
