FOOD SERVICE SANITATION LABORER (Part-time 80%)-HEAD START (E. ST. LOUIS)
Description: This position will ensure that food served to children is received, stored, served and disposed of in a hygienic manner. This position maintains established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation; takes food/equipment temperatures as required; prepares food for use by the children during meal and snack time; sweeps, scrubs, and dusts floors in the food service area as required; washes and stores all dishes and serving utensils and performs other related duties as assigned. Physical examination including TB screening, hepatitis A immunization, and successful completion of Food Service Sanitation Certification course is required.

Ability to follow directions.
Ability to work with other staff and program volunteers.
Starting salary: $8.25 per hour
