FOOD SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR III - FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
Description: Food Service Administrator III reports to the Assistant Director for Dining Services. This position will be responsible as the senior management of Starbucks Coffee Licensee, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels franchise unit and employees and Kaldi’s franchise unit and employees. This position is responsible for overseeing and insuring contract compliance of all licensee and franchise units as per contract agreements; analyzes operational statements in relation to Starbucks Coffee, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and Kaldi’s Coffee and initiates necessary controls, supervises the development of departmental marketing strategic plan and promotions; supervises sanitation and safety programs for Dining Services as per Illinois Department of Public Health Food Code. Food Service Administrator III recruits, interviews, selects and supervises the student personnel function in the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. Six years of food service management experience (University training in dietetics, in hotel, restaurant, or institutional management, or in related fields may be substituted, year for year, for experience.)
Additional Attributes and Skills Needed to Fulfill Job:
Possession of Food Handler’s Certificate, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Starting Salary: $3,554 per month
