FOOD SERVICE SANITATION LABORER –FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
Hours: Monday 6:00-2:00 pm, Tuesday 7:00-3:00 pm, Wednesday 7:00-3:00 pm, Thursday 6:00-2:00 pm, Friday 7:00-3:00 pm
Description: This position unloads shipments of food supplies and stores in proper locations following Madison County Health codes and sanitation regulations. This position scrapes, wash dishes; buses, scours and cleans dining area tables and chairs; removes trash/cardboard and cleans trash cans; cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment; filters grease in fryers and changes grease as needed; cleans, sweeps and mops floors; transports equipment and dishes to and from storage locations; washes and sanitizes walls as required in kitchen areas; sets up and tears down as well as performs routine maintenance on dish machine. This position performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional information:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time during shift.
Involves use of potentially dangerous equipment and chemicals.
Includes working in temperature extremes, freezers and refrigerators and around steam equipment and ovens.
May include weekend work and occasional overtime.
Starting salary: $11.33 per hour
