The Employee Recognition Program was established in July 1998 and is designed to recognize Civil Service and Professional Staff employees for their exceptional accomplishments and service to the university.
Employees must have been employed with the university for two years to be nominated for the award. Nominations can be made by faculty, staff, or students, but the nomination must be supported by the supervisor.
Nominations are to be received by the 15th of each month for consideration for the following month. Recipients of the award receive a certificate, recognition on the Digital Signages (Monitors) in the Morris University Center, a special parking space for one (1) month close to their work, a $25 gift certificate to the Morris University Center Bookstore, and two complimentary lunch coupons to the University Restaurant. All recipients of the award are acknowledged at the annual service awards reception.
