What is RHA?
RHA stands for Residence Housing Association. We serve as the student liaisons between University Housing and the students who live on campus. We are comprised of student representatives from each of the four residence halls (Bluff, Evergreen, Prairie and Woodland) as well as Cougar Village Apartments and Family Living.
What has RHA done?
RHA has in the past served as an administrative student body within University Housing. In the past, we have worked with Dining Services and Parking Services to address the concerns of those students living on campus. Each year we approve the University Housing Budget and offer advice to administer the money in a way that best serves our on-campus student body. We also sponsor the Homecoming Dance, Midnight Breakfast, and Mud Volleyball Tournament.
What does RHA plan to do in the future?
As well as continuing as an advisory body, RHA plans to have a program each semester as well as working with the Area Councils to provide the student body with ample activities right here on campus
Where does RHA meet?
RHA meets in the Woodland Hall Learning Resource Center every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are open to all University Housing residents, so feel free to bring your friends.
How do I get involved in RHA?
The best way to get involved is to come to the meetings. We talk about the upcoming events and we have a great time!
