Important Financial Aid Information for Summer housing residents...
Due to a change in Federal Regulations affecting SIUE, Financial Aid from one award year cannot pay prior year debt in excess of $200.00.
This may affect summer housing students! If you are expecting your Fall Financial Aid to pay any of your Summer charges you need to be aware that your Financial Aid will only pay $200.00 of your past due Summer balance! If you owe more than $200.00 you will have to pay this “out of pocket”.
If you do not pay your Summer charges in full a hold will be placed on your account, and you will not be allowed to register for Spring term. In addition, finance charges will accrue on the unpaid balance, increasing the amount that you owe.
Please ensure that you have completed this form and returned to the Office of Financial Aid.
