What does it mean to be a Move-In Crew volunteer?
You would be one of hundreds of students who volunteer to help new freshman move into their residence hall. Volunteers sign up to work one or more 3 hour shifts where they help new residents move-in. This year the number of volunteers will be limited to 525 - volunteer early!
Why do I want to be a part of the Move-In Crew?
Move-In Crew volunteers move into their Fall Housing assignment early, receive a free meal, earn volunteer hours and feel good about helping new residents move-in! (Remember, you were a new resident once, too!)
What do I need to do?
Attend mandatory Move-In Crew meeting on Wednesday, August 15th at 4:00 p.m.
Is there a deadline?
The deadline to register is July 1, 2012. However, we are only accepting the first 525 volunteers so make sure to register early. Shift assignments will be e-mailed to your SIUE e-mail account no later than July 18, 2012.
