The SIUE Residence Housing Association has partnered with Residence Hall Linens to provide students and families with a convenient, affordable way to ensure you have sheets that will fit the extra-long mattresses in our residence halls and Cougar Village. What Not to Bring

  • full sized refrigerators (only units up to 5.0 cu.ft.)
  • pets (other than fish in an aquarium)
  • firearms or explosive devices
  • controlled substances
  • alcohol containers empty or full
  • candles with wicks intact/incense
  • ceiling fans
  • cooking appliances with open elements (i.e.-hot plates, toasters, toaster ovens, Foreman Grills). Coffee pots are the exception and are allowed.
  • single and multiple use extension cords (must be U.L. approved outlet strip with fuse or breaker)
  • microwaves (one is provided on each wing of the Residence Halls)
  • halogen lamps or desk lamps with a halogen bulb
  • high volume squirt guns (e.g. "Super Soakers")
