Prairie Hall opened August 1998 and houses first year residents. The activity wing has a multifunction room, Learning Resource Center, 24-hour computer lab and classroom. Residents living in Prairie are encouraged to participate in
Horizons - a program designed to give first year residents the opportunity to get involved on campus, develop leadership skills and learn how to be a successful college student.
Bluff, Prairie, and Woodland Halls feature suite-style living, with two residents sharing a room and four residents sharing a bathroom. Each living unit is furnished with two twin bunkable beds with extra-long twin mattresses, two desks with a desktop book shelf, two chairs, two three-drawer chest of drawers, blinds, wall-to-wall carpet, and spacious closet.
All residents of Bluff Hall, Prairie Hall and Woodland Hall are required to purchase a meal plan.

Security
Residence halls are staffed 24 hours a day with controlled access and video surveillance. Regular patrols of the area are conducted by University Police.
