This community houses students who have been accepted as Meridian Scholars and who have received a full academic scholarship for their high school academic achievement. Meridian Scholars Program encompasses the Chancellor’s Scholarships, offered to entering students with strong academic ability and a record of personal achievement, leadership and service, and the Presidential Scholarships.
Residents will have the opportunity to participate in special academic opportunities provided by the university as well as additional support from a Faculty Fellow who serves as a support and resource to residents.
Students in this community take an honors course together.
The Scholars FIC is located in Prairie Hall.

New students wishing to become part of a Focused Interest Community should indicate their interest on their University Housing application.
