The Health Professionals FIC houses students with pre-majors in the Health Science professional programs (pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-pharmacy). Students who are interested in Nursing may also live in this community. The community focuses on the development of students in medical-related, professional fields.
Students who choose to live in this community will have the opportunity to work with faculty members in the School of Pharmacy and other science based majors, as well as benefit from the support of peers taking similar challenging courses.
Students in the Health Sciences FIC participated in Community Study Groups and have traditional programs such as visit Monsanto Pharmaceutical Company, visiting the St. Louis Science Center, introductory info sessions from the professional programs listed above and more.
Students in this community will have the opportunity to take KIN 100, a 1 credit hour, 8 week course that provides introductions to health-related professions.
The Health Professionals FIC is located in Bluff Hall.
