Education

This community houses intended pre-majors of the School of Education including Special Education, Secondary Education, as well students studying in the Department of Psychology.

Purpose

Students who are interested in majors within the School of Education will live together as they take similar classes.  This includes students majoring in kinesiology and psychology. 

Opportunities

Students in this community may have the opportunity to visit classrooms or participate in opportunities for undergraduate research in psychology. 

Programs

Traditional events for this program include assisting the Family Resource Center in Cougar Village, visiting the SIUE daycare; students can also participate in the educational reading program in Madison County.

Location

For the 2012-2013 academic year, the Education FIC will be located in Prairie Hall.
