This community houses intended pre-majors of the School of Education including Special Education and Secondary and Elementary Education.
Students who are interested in majors within the School of Education will live together as they take similar classes.
Students in this community may have the opportunity to visit classrooms.
Traditional events for this program include assisting the Family Resource Center in Cougar Village, visiting the SIUE daycare and taking part in the educational reading program in Madison County.
Students in this community are pre-registered into a section of CIED (Curriculum, Instruction, Educational Development) 100, Intro to Education.
The Education FIC is located in Prairie Hall.
