Are you registered to vote? For SIUE royalty that is. Be sure to let your voice be heard and stop by the 2016 Homecoming voting booth in the Goshen. Two crowns, two titles, one tradition all decided by you! 

11:30 a.m. - 1 :30 p.m. - Homecoming Kickoff - Stratton Quad

Not ready to say goodbye to the weekend yet? Then don’t. Join us as we kickoff Homecoming 2016 in style. With free giveaways, music and surprises around every turn, lets head “Back to the E” for an unforgettable week.

7 p.m. - Derek Hughes - MUC Ballroom

Magic and comedy, two things everyone needs in their life. Originally from Minnesota, Derek Hughes has been wowing audiences for years. His act has been called “Thoroughly Entertaining” by the New York Times and “Engaging, artful and smart” by Teller. Come out and see for yourself what the talk is all about.

Picasso, da Vinci, Monet and you? Put those Bob Ross skills to the test and show us your best! (weather permitting)

3 p.m. - Chalk Mural Judging

Even Picasso, da Vinci and Monet had critics. (weather permitting)

7 p.m. - Back to the Future screening - MUC Meridian Ballroom

Can you say Throwback Tuesday? The DeLorean is fired up and waiting for you in Hill Valley. Doc and Marty are ready to take SIUE on an adventure through time like never before. Costumes encouraged!  Celebrate 31 years of time travel fun.

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Campus Recreation Presents: 15th Annual Chili Cook-Off - Stratton Quad

With the arrival of fall, what better way to stay warm? Whether you are an avid chili connoisseur or new the chili game (only knowing that can life), this is the perfect pick-me-up treat!

4 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Golf Cart Parade

Who doesn’t love a parade? And a golf cart parade at that! Join in on this Cougar tradition as the parade bustles through campus in style. The route starts on the Quad and will finish at the Woodland Bowl. 

6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - SG & Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Presents: Homecoming Bonfire - Woodland Bowl

Ready for the first s’more of the season? SG & Zeta Phi Beta are! Bust out those hoodies and make your way over to the Woodland Bowl for music, melted marshmallow goodness and fun!

11 a.m. - Dance Off - MUC Goshen Slate

Okay, Cougars, now let’s get in formation. Whether you are throwing it back with the robot, or Harlem Shaking into the weekend, we want to see your best dance moves!

4 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Fixins' Homecoming Dinner

What is the only way to a Cougar's heart? Through their stomach of course! Grab some grub during Fixins' extended Homecoming hours. 

9 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Cosmic Bowling - Cougar Lanes

Turkeys, strikes and spares, oh my! Whether you’re league material or an avid bumpers up only bowler, this cosmic fun isn’t to be missed. Location: Cougar Lanes

9 a.m. - SIUE Cougars Unleashed: Homecoming Run and Pancake Breakfast - Birger Hall

Join us for the first annual run that benefits the SIUE Alumni Association Scholarships. Choose your race from a 10K, 5K or 1-mile fun run. After the run, stay and enjoy family entertainment and a world-famous Chris Cakes pancake breakfast.  Register now before the price goes up on Sept. 16! There is a discount for SIUE Alumni, and SIUE students may participate for free. (If you just want to come for breakfast, you can purchase breakfast tickets at our registration site.)  Register Now

3 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Homecoming Tailgate featuring the MUC Food Truck - Korte Stadium

What is soccer without a tailgate? It’s just a game. Join your fellow Cougars and make it a tailgate to remember. The MUC food truck already has its spot; do you have yours?

4 p.m. -  Alumni Pregame Tailgate - Korte Stadium

Get ready for the Homecoming game while enjoying a free alumni celebration including hog roast, beer, music, games and a Yeti cooler and tumblers raffle. Stay and cheer on our Cougars as they face Drake.  FREE Cougars t-shirt to the first 100 alumni attendees! Register Now

7 p.m. - Men's Soccer vs. Drake - Korte Stadium

Come on fans let’s hear it! We got Cougar Spirit! Fill the stands at Korte and cheer on SIUE as we face off with Drake University. After all, Cougars aren’t afraid of Bull Dogs. 

Halftime - Homecoming King & Queen Coronation

The results are in! The official announcement of SIUE’s 2016 Homecoming King and Queen will take place during half-time of the men’s soccer game. Don’t’ miss your chance to rub elbows with royalty.

10 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Brunch & Bubbly: Greek Alumni Reunion – MUC Ballroom 

Come home for this inaugural Greek Alumni Homecoming event! Enjoy brunch and unlimited mimosa bar.  Wear your letters or chapter colors with pride, enjoy the company of current members, and reconnect with your fraternity brothers and sorority sisters. There will be a prize for the organization with the most alumni members in attendance.  Cost is $20/person.   Event Canceled
