Job Description: Assist staff members in the Kimmel Student Involvement Center with planning, coordination, and implementation of programs and services. Positions include: Student Organizations and Leadership (1), Fraternity and Sorority Life (1), Campus Activities Board (3), and Volunteer and Service Learning (2). Perform other duties as assigned and be available for evenings, weekends, and other University projects or events as required.

Qualifications Required: Candidate must be admitted into one of the following graduate programs of study at SIUE: Business (excludes Computer Management and Information Systems major), Education (excludes Speech Pathology major), History, Mass Communication, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology, or Speech Communication, and maintain a 6-12 hour load per semester. Previous involvement in event planning, student activities, leadership development experience, and demonstrated communication & computer skills preferred. Evidence of strong organizational skills & ability to work with minimal supervision required. Must be available to share in supervision of evening & weekend programs.

Period of Appointment: 8/4/2014 - 5/31/2015

Salary: $896 per month
