Job Description: The candidate will assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in all aspects of the SIUE strength and conditioning program including but not limited to team warm-ups, strength and speed training, conditioning, flexibility, and athlete assessments. Support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program. Comply with University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel. Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required: Minimum requirements include Bachelor's degree in an Exercise Science related field and a strong desire to pursue and Athletic Performance career. CSCS certification is preferred. Acceptance into SIUE Graduate School; must maintain 6-12 hour course load per semester. Evidence of sound organizational skills. Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and the public.

Period of Appointment: 10-month appointment beginning August 1, 2014

Salary: $896- $1234 per month stipend. Includes tuition waiver.
