Job Description:  The candidate will assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in all aspects of the SIUE strength and conditioning program including but not limited to: team warm-ups, strength and speed training, conditioning, flexibility, and athlete assessments, support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program, comply with University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations, work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel, support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required: Minimum requirements include a Bachelors degree in an Exercise Science related field and a strong desire to pursue an Athletic Performance career. CSCS certification is preferred. Acceptance into SIUE graduate program of study. Evidence of sound organizational skills. Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and the public.

Period of Appointment:  10 month appointment beginning August 1, 2013.

Salary:   $896-$1184 per month stipend
