Diversifying Faculty in Illinois (DFI)

The Diversifying Faculty in Illinois (DFI) program was established by the Illinois General Assembly in 2004, replacing the prior Illinois Consortium for Educational Opportunity Program (ICEOP). The goal of DFI is to increase the number of underrepresented faculty and staff in Illinois institutions of higher education and higher education governing boards.

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria of the DFI program. The program is intended for members of identified under-represented groups who aspire to becoming faculty members in Illinois colleges and universities, including community colleges.

Guidelines and application materials are now available. You can download the application materials in PDF format using the link below. Complete application packets are also available in the Graduate School, Rendleman Building, Room 2202.
