SIUE is a member of the Community of Science (COS). SIUE’s membership gives faculty access to its two databases, COS Expertise and COS Funding Opportunities.
COS Expertise is the premier database of first-person profiles of researchers at leading universities and other institutions involved in basic or applied research. By “joining” COS and creating an Expertise profile, you will be added to SIUE’s internal database of faculty experts, and if you wish, your profile can become part of the global Community of Science (COS) network. COS Expertise contains nearly 500,000 profiles submitted by researchers, scholars and other experts from more than 1,600 universities, government agencies, and other R&D organizations from around the world.
Your COS Expertise Profile and Workbench also allow you to receive targeted funding searches through COS Funding Opportunities, the world's most comprehensive funding resource, with more than 22,000 records representing nearly 400,000 opportunities, worth over $33 billion.
