Passing score on the Illinois Basic Skills Test
750-1000 word statement of intent
Three letters of recommendation
Advanced Standing: all of the above plus a baccalaureate degree in social work awarded within 7 preceding years and undergraduate research methods and statistics courses
With optional specialization in School Social Work: additional 250-300 word statement of intent

Regular Standing: 57 semester hours
Advanced Standing: 30 credit hours
With specialization in School Social Work: Add six semester hours, and the State of Illinois Content Area Exam for School Social Work Personnel
