Urban Scholars Program

The Urban Scholars Program was created in 2008 as a way to advance the research being conducted on urban topics at SIUE. There are ten urban scholars active at any one time, all working on urban topics that advance the IUR's research agenda. Each urban scholar works internally for one year using IUR funding, and then pursues external funding for a subsequent year (or longer) of urban scholarship within the IUR.
