Hiring Unit: Intercollegiate Athletics - Student Athlete Compliance

Job Description:  The candidate will assist in all areas of operation for Student-Athlete Compliance. The individual will assist the Director of Athletics and other staff members in Intercollegiate Athletics with planning, coordinating, and implementing programs and services and other duties as assigned. Students in this position will develop skills in human relations, supervision skills, public presentations and communication and documentations skills. Candidate must be available for evening and weekend events.

Qualifications Required: Student must be admitted into one of the following programs of study at SIUE: Business, Kinesiology, Mass Communications, Public Administration; maintain a 6-12 hour course load per semester. Pervious involvement in event planning, student activities, leadership development experience, and demonstrated communication and computer skills.

Period of Appointment:  10-month appointment beginning August 1, 2008.

Salary:     $846.00 -1184.00 per month
