Job Description:  Graduate assistantships require that the awardee participate in support of the instructional and/or research programs in the School of Engineering. Assignments will be for a maximum of 20 hours per week (50%). The appointments require concurrent registration in the graduate Electrical Engineering program at SIUE as full-time students. The assistant must make satisfactory progress toward completing the degree program.

Qualifications Required: Assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis and applicants must be admitted into a graduate program of study at SIUE in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in course content and fluency in the English language are required for appointments with teaching responsibilities.

Period of Appointment:  One to two semesters during the academic year 2008-2009.

Salary:   $846.00 per month for first-year
               $901 per month for second-year
