SIUeDAY is a University-wide fundraising initiative. The faculty/staff component was held in September 2008 however, gifts are welcomed now through June 30, 2009.  The results from our third SIUeDAY are still coming in.  As of October 15, 2008, we have raised $132,569 in gifts and pledges from our faculty and staff.  This is a 26% increase in support compared to the same time period for the first SIUeDAY.

The overall focus is to celebrate SIUE while gaining faculty/staff and local business support annually.  It is imperative for SIUE to secure its family gifts first to show the community that we believe in what we do here at the University.

The #1 goal for SIUeDAY is participation!  We want to increase the total percentage of faculty and staff who contribute, regardless of the amount of the gift. Faculty/staff will be able to choose where they would like to designate their gifts. Gifts may be designated for funds established in specified departments, programs, or purposes.

If you are already giving via payroll deduct, you will be included and counted as participating.  Please check the appropriate box inside the SIUeDAY form stating that you are currently participating.  You are also invited to consider upgrading your gift.

How to Participate in SIUeDAY

• Choose where you would like to designate your gift(s).

Step 3

• Indicate the amount you plan to contribute on the blank line next to the fund. e.g. $10 SIUE Advancement Fund
• If you wish to designate your gift to multiple funds, please indicate the amount by the funds name.

Step 4

• Return the form to the SIUE Foundation or your Unit Representative by September 17.
