Partnership Opportunities

There are numerous partnership opportunities at SIUE that benefit corporations and foundations. Some of these opportunities include employee and intern recruiting, professional and executive education, and program development.

Employee and Intern Recruiting

Hundreds of corporations wishing to recruit SIUE students and alumni will work with the Career Development Center to build their talent base. The Career Development Center works proactively to assist students and alumni in their quests to begin or further their careers. The Center hosts numerous events for employers giving corporations opportunities to simplify the recruiting process with highly intensified on-campus events such as:

Professional and Executive Education

Thousands of men and women turn to SIUE to continue their education after earning their bachelor’s degree. In addition to the standard graduate programs benefiting working professionals like the MBA, master's degrees are obtainable in Mass Communications, Accounting, Computer Management & Information Systems, Economics & Finance, Marketing Research, Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Those working professionals seeking to enhance their skills and advance their careers can earn certificates in Corporate & Organizational Communication, as well as Media Literacy.

SIUE also offers EDUCARD, a special community program allowing people to attend selected classes, for no credit, offered by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. It provides an opportunity for individuals to sample the subjects that interest them for only $35, from accounting to zoology. EDUCARD provides an economical and flexible opportunity for members of the community to experience professional growth and personal enrichment.

Program Development

SIUE is at the leading edge of higher education and continually develops programs benefiting the students and the surrounding community. Organizational support is critical to the success and continuity of programs like the East St. Louis Center, the Small Business Development Center and the Office of Economic Education & Business Research.

Campus Visits

We invite corporations and foundations to visit the SIUE campus and discover the blend of environmental beauty and academic excellence. The Corporate and Foundation Relations staff will be happy to coordinate your visit.
