The SIUE Foundation supports the mission, vision, and values of SIUE. The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) Foundation was incorporated in 1977 and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The SIUE Foundation exists separately from SIUE and is governed by its own Board of Directors.
The SIUE Foundation works with donors and the unit that will benefit from the gift to ensure the best use of the gift, honoring both the donor and the University. Donors may receive income and tax benefits through the gifts they give.
Donors have numerous options for giving to SIUE and may designate their gifts for a specific college, school, department, program, award, scholarship, or other area. Donors may also give an unrestricted gift which may be used at the discretion of the SIUE Foundation Board of Directors.
