Visit the Gardens at SIUE

If you're planning to visit The Gardens at SIUE for the first time, or if it has been awhile since you’ve stopped by, prepare to be amazed!

The Gardens Support Center
Open Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and during special event weekends

The Support Center is the main hub of activity for The Gardens staff and volunteers. Feel free to stop in and fill your water bottle, use our restrooms or just say hello anytime the building is open.

Our half-mile paved loop is a great way to experience The Gardens. The loop path and Turtle Pond Bridge are ADA accessible. The Shade Stroll path, a mulched path, takes visitors through the woodland area to explore understory plantings and the Council Ring.

Feel free to explore off the paths, but keep an eye out for plants such as poison ivy and wild rose that may leave their mark.

We ask that you not pick the flowers or make collections of any kind. Explore and enjoy the grounds, but please leave what you find.

Dogs are welcome to visit The Gardens, but please keep them on a leash. We also ask that you pick up after your pet.

Free Parking
The Gardens parking lot on Arboretum Lane is always available to visitors without a permit. Campus parking lot P10 is free to visitors only on Saturdays and Sundays. A permit is required Monday - Friday.
